Actually Ive been so busy lately with school I dont really have time for much but I just came here to tell you all that you are missed and I will do my best to update


Also, Im really into the combination of salsa and sour cream, its amazing! on like....almost everything!

I was eating some tortilla chips with salsa and sourcream and I had this random thought that it would be really funny if someone broke up with another person by saying "look...Im just really into salsa and sour cream right now" and give no other explination! LOL why is that so funny to me!? I seriously snorted laughing over that. Ahhhh man good times.

Good news I got accepted into the Respiratory Therapist program! yaaaaaaaay!! so I have been really busy getting everything ready for that because I start in July eep so soon! But I am really really excited.

In other news my garden has been overthrown by weeds that wont go away I absolutely hate pulling weeds and this Round-Up solution isnt working boooooo

My friends got married and I made their cake toppers Im really proud of the way they came out and plan on making more for friends using different kinds of material and various sizes coming up soon :) here is a photo from the wedding

Hello Chipper Cheerfuls!

Well I finally got a new car after my other one was totalled in a car accident. I got a Chevy Prizm it looks like this

nothing too fancy its a great little commuter car and I really like it.

I other news, I am saddened that I can no longer persue my Teaching career, its no longer a stable job in this economy and in the state of California. Frankly I think the way educators get paid and treated in any state is complete crap! Without Teachers there would be no other profession in the world. Everyone has to be taught.

So with that being said I have decided to go into the medical feild, its always been an interest of mine (among many others) and Im going to become a Respiratory Therapist, why did I choose this over others well for one I have asthma and Ive had many interactions with RT's on a personal level in hospitals and dr. offices. Plus they are in high demand and its a steady career. Id really like to be able to work in a Childrens Hospital. Ive got almost all my paper work together to start this and my packet filled out, FASFA filed. If all goes well I'll be starting the program in July and Im pretty excited about it. Im just nervous because its an intensive program so its very fast paced (18 months)and you jump into clinical rotations in your first term. Im not going to be able to have a social life AT ALL once it starts but sacrifices like these do pay off in the end.

Bonjour!

So I officially started my t-shirt quilt that I have been talking about doing for....well forever now. But I actually started to cut out my fabric and got some really awesome background/accent material! Its going to happen I just cant slack anymore on getting it done. I dont have any pictures to post as of yet but Im sure I will soon.

Also oh man soooooo umm at the end of January I got in a car accident because some jerky mcjerkwad decided not to stop at a 4 way stop and crashed into me while I was crossing THEN tried to say it was my fault? My fault how exactly? Pardon my beauty but I dont think I distracted you from pressing the brake pedal. Anyway I have been looking for a car ever since I got my total loss check in the mail a few weeks ago UGH and let me tell you, trying to find a decent car on a limited budget is NOT easy. But I am doing my best and trying my hardest to find something reasonable and hopefully I wont end up with some jalopy that will break down on me. Wish me luck!

In other exciting news Im FIIIINAAALLLLY getting new glasses!!! HOORAAAAYYY for those of you who are vision impaired such as myself glasses are an extension of your fashion and sometimes the most fashionable thing you have on if you're having a sweatpants sort of day. You all know what Im talking about dont try to deny it. Anyway I have an appointment to get an eye exam and pick out new frames I havnt had new glasses in 2..maybe 3 years and I am waaaaaaay over due I cant even believe I waited this long but not having vision coverage will make you wait. I cant wait to get some cute ones

Well Howdy-Doo!!

Long time no see blooooog and readers!

Im terribly sorry I havnt updated since New Years things that been really busy. I started my new job and have been super busy working and getting in the groove of that. Also I got in a car accident at the end of January and have been dealing with all that mumbo jumbo. My car got totaled Im fine, but now I have to go through the hassle of getting a new car which really sucks since they are only giving me a little over $2,000 for my car :( Oh well...

BUT in more awesome news my new exercise plan is going really well and Ive been sticking to my diet which is really good, I also decided I want to try Roller Derby its always been something I thought was awesome and I used to be a really good skater so Im going to get some roller skates and get back into good skating shape and try out for our local womens roller derby team. Now I gotta think of a cool Derby name haha! I thinking about Mal-icious. Anyway we'll see how that all goes I'll keep you updated on my adventures. I cant beleive these women didnt wear helmets and more padding when it first started

HELLO 2010!!

Well the world hasnt fallen apart yet! Infact I think this year is going to be a good one its already off to an awesome start.

I kicked off my year with one of my best friends Aubrey at the most fantastic placed called The Forbidden Island Tiki Lounge, its the cutest little tiki bar right by Aubreys apartment just two blocks away. It was just the two of us but we ended up spending the whole time with a wonderful group of strangers we sat next to and we all had a blast!

Then I drove up to Eureka to visit my sister and her husband for a week before I have to start my new job. Im super excited to start its going to be a lot of fun working with elementary students again. I basically get to teach drama and art to students as part of an enrichment program. I cant wait!

Also I cut my hair into a really simple angled bob haircut, and I just love it! here is a dim dark picture from New Years at the Tiki Lounge


So Id say so far so good for 2010 hope it gets better from here. I hope you all had amazing new years and wish nothing but the best for you all.

In other news I have a 5 year plan in effect...well...planning stages but still somewhat in effect its about time I got things sorted out and on the right track! Fingers crossed I hope my plan works.
